Almost Killing Sin-Eater
Back in the 80’s, a character named Jean DeWolff was set up as being the Jim Gordon to Spidey’s Batman. It was a shock to everyone – Spidey included – when Jean ended up getting killed. When Spider-Man found out that it was Sin-Eater that had killed Jean DeWolff, our favorite web crawler lost it and nearly killed Sin-Eater. Daredevil had to step in to stop him, and the two heroes even traded blows because of this.

Giving Tony Stark’s Glasses to Mysterio
There’s a lot of stupid things Peter Parker has done, but giving the world’s biggest genius’ glasses to a guy he met 15 minutes earlier probably has to be the stupidest of them all. In a twist everyone saw coming, Mysterio ended up betraying peter and used Stark’s technology to turn the public against Spidey by making them believe he had killed Mysterio. Oh – and he revealed Peter’s true identity in the meantime.
